We are a group of retired/active law enforcement professionals, community members & advocates. Our goal is to ensure that those who serve in a public agency capacity are fair and free from questionable, suspicious and/or a disturbing background that would be GREAT cause for concern in their ability to lead and gain and retain public trust. We believe in a fair process to vett and investigate public safety officials. For the purposes of this website, public safety leadership within various agencies that provide public safety services (law enforcement/fire/parks/etc) in Santa Clara County and sometimes the Bay Area. There are other circumstances we may look into and forward to an investigating agency where there could be public/media interest in egregious cases involving discrimination, racism, sexual harrassment/assault, etc. involving entities (and businesses) which serve the public and not limited to government agencies, which could become a safety issue for the public.

Transparency allows for honest analysis relating to the quality of public safety (or other types of management) while at the same time building trust within the communities served. The approach to transparency and accountability should open up dialogue to ensure that certain concerns, specific issues as well as leadership are fully addressed, and responsibility accounted for. The monitoring of an agency or an entity and its leadership should facilitate continued discussion with the implementation of needed corrective or reformative action that is applied in a fair and impartial process.

Transparency is also the cause for bringing the integrity, trust, and suitability of a Public Safety Official to serve our community with accountability for a background that is not 'clouded' with personal/public controversy, suspicion, mistrust, civil and/or criminal liability regardless of when it may have occurred.

As you read through this website, keep in mind, we are not here to 'hold court' on any public safety official, agency, entity or business. Most of the information we are receiving is 'alleged' or have been provided with limited circumstantial information and/or may already be 'under investigation' with the appropriate agencies. If something is 'referred' to in this website, it is accompanied by links as to where the information was obtained or viewed (ie: social media, online, etc).

Our apologies if you are unable to click on any accompanying outside weblinks. Please copy and paste it into your browser. Any link red flagged as 'suspicious' that we post on this website, has been 'cleared' by our staff to review. Often times, a public official, etc that we name has had a particular site flagged so that the public will not read its contents. If you are having trouble opening any link, please use the contact page to notify us immediately.

About Us & Why image

Transparency and Accountability. One is not effective without the other.
It is our hope and on behalf of the community that the standards and laws set forth by the State of California are adhered to. Or we must consider being our own changemakers if the politicians we entrust do not follow the process to ensure the safety of our communities from bad leadership.
